We love Mr. Crawford and his wonderful sense of humor. He could always bring a smile to our table. He will be missed but I know he is frying fish in Heaven talking to all his friends and family members about how beautiful Heaven is. I know my dad, Murphy Messer, was there to meet him. Just think one day we will be with them for an eternity. I am so looking forward to that day. We love all of you and we are all praying for you and I hope somehow that comforts you during this very sad time.

Ken,
I was so sorry to hear about your fathers passing. You and your family have been so kind to us whenever we visit my cousin Louis Boyd. I know you have been told that each of our visits have to include a meal at your place. I am sure that your kind, generous and caring approach to business and life are a result of your fathers example. Thank you also for loving my cousin and his family through this difficult time in his life. You are in our prayers and I'm sure we will see you soon.

My thoughts and Prayers are with the family during this most difficult time. I remember so well when we use to go to Crawford's, for the best catfish around, and Pops would always welcome you with funny things. Crawfords had two of the best: Pops and Catfish!!! We miss him LOTS!

Louis introduced us to the wonderful Crawford seafood last year, so we made him take us back on our recent visit. I'm so glad to have had the chance to experience the kindness so freely shared by the Crawford family. You are appreciated Mr. Crawford, even back here in Dallas, for all that you have brought to your friends and guests.

Nathan and I were just talking about the world's best fried catfish yesterday and mentioned that Mr. Crawford had the best around. We have found none to surpass that of Mr. Crawford's recipe. We will always remember his jokes and laughter as he visited around the tables at the restaurant. He was truly a wonderful person as he shared his Christlike spirit with all he came in contact with.
Our prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Ken.
